I have a fully established (3 yrs) 50gal reef tank (30lbs LR, 5 soft coral, few fish, 2 shrimp, starfish). I am wondering if I should move the livestock to a QT while I add more fully cured LR to the tank, or would this cause the fish/corals more stress? Any advice or previous experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Adam

I use to add LR to my tank on a reg basis. Esp if I was at my local shop when their big orders came in and I saw a piece that looked awesome! Also make sure you have a good base of live sand in your tank, as it is a WONDERFUL filter system and helps keep the tank clean and a safe place for some fish and inverts to hide.

YOU can also order LR direct from Fuji and such and pick it up at a local airport as well. I did that once. 2 of us went in and split about 50 pounds of LR. It was awesome!!!
